LEAGUE RULES

1. Roms will be released every Friday. You will have until the following  Friday @ 11:59 pm EST to get your weekly league game played. If not played your game will be simulated by the following week.  The owner who tried to get the game in will get the victory.  If neither tried, they both get losses.

2. All league games will be played in season mode. The games will be in the week 1 slot.  

Use the following procedure for league games: 
- Load the Rom 
- Go into 'Season Mode' 
- Go into 'Team Control' and set the teams involved to 'MAN' 
- Go into 'Schedule' and set auto skip to Week 1 
- Go into 'Team Data' and set both lineups and playbooks. 
- Go to 'Game Start' and play your game (start recording) 
- After the game is over at the BLUE stats screen, but before the other player disconnects, *push SHIFT + a number* to save the state. 
- Check the message board for uploading the state file, which BOTH owners must do. 
- Winner of the season game must provide some form of recap on the message board. Whether it be just a summary of the score of the game, or a lengthy 3 page essay on the breakdown of the game.
3. WE USE NESTOPIA VERSION 1.39.  1.40 AND NESTICLE will not be accepted now.  You must film < each and every season game. BOTH owners are required to film and save the ns1. To film a game, you must start your file before you and your opponent connect.  You go to File, Movie, File, initially name your file, hit OK. Then you connect and set your team up and autoskip until your game comes up. Then you go to File, Movie, Record, hit OK. then name the game as such:  A week one game between Tennessee and Seattle should be:
CTL97TEN@SEAWK1.nsv.  In case of a desync, the video file is needed to grab the partial stats.  If no video is found on either side, then the game does not even happen.  The game must be replayed in its entirety!

4. You must take a .sta file at the stats screen after each and every season game to use for stat input and film every game. BOTH coaches email the sta file and keep all files until after the playoffs in case they are needed. PLEASE RENAME THE FILE TO BE SOMETHING SIMILIAR TO THIS: CTL97SEA@DETWK1.ns1.  Basically all I need is the teams involved in the middle and the most important thing is to end with the Wk Number.

5. Here is a breakdown of who can play what positions: QBs can only play QB. RBs can play RB, WR, TE. WRs can play RB, WR, TE, but they may never run the ball FROM the running back position. TEs may play RB, WR, TE, but they may never run the ball FROM the running back position. Offensive linemen can only play OL; centers, guards, and tackles are interchangeable. 6. Defensive Lineman can only play DL. Linebackers can only play LB. Cornerbacks can only play CB. Safeties can only play S. Kickers and punter can only kick and punt.

7. In NESTOPIA before playing the game, make sure connection is good enough to be played on and agreed upon by both players.  If a game is too laggy, wait to play.

8. If a player gets disconnected FROM the net in the middle of the game, you must reconnect and play the remainder of the game, then add up the scores. So if you get disconnected in the 2nd quarter, you must reconnect and play an additional 2 and a half (or however much game was missed) quarters and add up the scores. Both sections of the film must be filmed. Unless BOTH players agree to replay the entire game. Again if no film is produced FROM the first cut off, the whole game must be replayed.  *** Do not replay the game until notifying me "CanesRFoReal" so we can decide the exacts.

9. When you have the ball, you must wait for the other player to get to the guy they want to control on defense. Do not hike it until they are set on who they want. 

10. When the game starts, do not skip through the coin toss. Also if you do not win the toss, do not push B to try and change the results. This is especially important in overtime. 

11. You may never deliberately tackle a player after he has scored a touchdown or run out of bounds. This sometimes causes him to fumble and lose his stats.  
12. Before leaving for Nestopia, disconnect FROM AIM or set your AIM status to away. This way, other members know you are unavailable. 

13. No use of DL is allowed. If your opposition still has his cursor on a DL, wait for him to pick a LB or DB.

14. Field goals and extra points use of the 4th man down is not permitted. 


15. The in Game Play Changing hack allows you to change plays in game;  LIMIT ONE per game.

16. May onside kick anytime in the game, but if recoved an immediate punt is required, unless you're behind by at least 14 points or if behind anytime in 4th quarter. A recovered onside kick in OT must also be punted immediately.
17.  If you intentionally quit a game before the stat file is taken, you have just booted yourself FROM the league.  Poor sportsmanship is not tolerated here. 

18.If a playoff game is tied after overtime(5 quarters, notify the league commisioner). Also if any injuries occured during the game, they will not be eligible to play in the sudden death rematch. Basically what will happen is the game will still be tied, and the game will be restarted, first team to score, advances. I can grab 2 partial save states so start a new video. If you intentionally quit a game before the stat file is taken, you have just booted yourself FROM the league.  Poor sportsmanship is not tolerated here.
