Vintage Division

TSBGOD - New England Patriots
The 2 time defending champion heavyweights come into this season with another incredible team.
He trades away Barry Sanders last year, but fills him with a terrific player at RB in Marshall Faulk.
Couple that with the best QB in the game, and the best set of WRs in the league, and you have
one scary as hell offense. Chuck Smith will keep the ground game under control, and if you thought
you were going to throw the ball on TSB, think again with two 75INT DBs. Couple this with a fairly
weak division, the Patriots follow their real-life counterparts. Prediction: 13-0

Kaberger8 - Green Bay Packers
The Pack now have Brett Favre and Sterling Sharpe, and absolute rediculous duo. Jeffiries at 2
WR is a solid compliment to Sterling. The running game is ultimately going to hold this team
back however, with 38 MS Leonard Russel. He did put a terrific OL together however to help
Russ along a little bit more. John Randle will cause some disruptions up the middle at DL, but
the linebackers and secondary are average at best, and could ultimately cost this team a playoff
birth. Prediction 6-7


Jshaw5442 - Detroit Lions
The Lions have a solid QB-RB-WR tandem in Aikman, Hampton, and Moore. Problem is, there
is very little depth. The defensive side of the ball lacks a true stud, but features a slew of above
average players. The problem here is if a defender is great at one thing he struggles at another.
DJ Johnson's 63HP and 63INT are very attractive, but his 38 MS leaves loads to be desired.
Not a bad team, and if it clicks, could definatly find themselves in the playoffs. Prediction: 6-7

Errol7777 - Denver Broncos
Putting Dan Marino in this division gives us an unprecidented look at QBs. Young, Favre, Aikman,
Marino... YIKES. Unfortunatly this team wont be quite as competitive with the others due to this
fact, and the rest of the club is just slightly behind. McDaniel is a force at CB however.
Prediction: 5-8


Discdolo - New Orleans Saints.
All I can say here is, i know how you feel man! After taking over possibly the worst team in CTL
history 2 years ago, this saints team looks very familiar. A 38PC QB, a 38MS RB and a top
WRs REC of 50 are going to make 1st downs seem like touchdowns. The lone bright spot is
vincent in the secondary, who can make things happen. Hey, the draft class is looking very good
next year. Prediction 0-13

Traditional Division

Lordsummerisle64 - Cincinatti Bengals
Brown, Emmit, and that recieving corps lead an above average offense. But WHERE this team
is special is their defense. Possibly the best D in the league is led up front by 69HP
Charles Haley, strattled by bash brothers Martin and Fuller. At LB we see 4 above average
guys who keep the ground game to a minimum, and in the secondary, James Washington
is an absolute stud. A ton of HP in that secondary should break up the running game nicely.
This just in: They play defense in Cincinatti! Another solid year for Lord Prediction: 9-4

BigFatPaulie5 - Cleveland Browns
Led by the great Warren Moon, the Cleveland Browns are looking for a season on the rise.
The RB and WR positions are average, and wont lead to a ton of points this year. His LBs
are very solid, and will contribute to an overal very good D But, the secondary is flat out scary.
Williams and Perry both at 75INT, and Turner at 63 leaves even TSBGODs former DBs raising
their eyebrows. If your team is a pass only team, good luck against the browns
Prediction: 9-4

Vogtcd11 - San Diego Chargers
Vogt took over the Chargers this year, a team that finished last 2 years ago in CTL.
Its led by the strong arm of Jim Kelly, and despite Jerome being in a down year is still
above average at RB. Sanders will provide Kelly with an above average target at QB.
The D is highlighted by ball snacher extrodonaire Ray Buchannon, with his coveted 75INT rating.
The DL is weak, and this team could struggle against the run. Overall, a solid year
Prediction: 7-6

Mikeyscull - Philadelphia Eagles
Mikey gets the award for the most stubborn when it comes to FA , sticking an above average
RB with an 8.3MIL dollar deal. Eagles QB still has some wheels, and Mathis may be the top
WR this year. For all the money used at RB, the D is surprisingly OK. Buckley, Williams,
and Richard provide for a very good secondary, and Speilman is a solid LB. How he didn't
go over cap is beyond me. Prediction: 7-6

BigFlu112 - Pittsburgh Steelers
This team has a lot of young talent, and is a force to be reckoned with in the future. However,
the offense will hurt them, and the Defense isn't enough to overcome this. Flu is good enough
to get a good outing out of his team however. Prediction: 3-10

Historic Division

Sowa1921 - Indianapolis Colts
Sowa latched on to QB Joe Montana, and has put together a pretty decent squad for the greatest
real life NFL team (bar none) . Thurman is a nice force at RB, and Reed is a star WR every
QB needs. The LBs are pretty good, and the DBs are led by possibly the best DB in the game
this year, Eric Turner (50RS, 56MS 69HP 75INT). These GROUP of stars will lead Sowa to a nice
division title. Prediction: 9-4

EIFERSUCHT80 - New York Giants
Eifer will have a nice year in by far the weakest of the four divisions. Everett leads the
charging Giants, and Friar is there to catch it for him. The front 7 are slightly above avg.
and the DBs leave much to be desired, except for Spencers INT.
Prediction: 7-6

Lillefty021 - Miami Dolphins
Led by the great ground game of Chris Warren, even the best defenses will be afraid, expecially
with Lil's tapping ability. Ellard is a nice target at WR for a few years aswell. The D is average
however, and will ultimately keep this team FROM a late run. Gordon is a good DB, but there arent
any stars on that side of the football. Prediction 6-7

Ahake21 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs were relentless in FA going after just about every good player at every position on the
market. Elway is good now, and for a LONG time at QB. Oh, and a little guy named Michael
Irvin is signed for 3 years aswell. The LBs are the lone OK spot on the D however, as
the DBs for the Bucs couldn't catch a cold. This and the inexperience will lead to a slightly
disspointing year, but a good future ahead. Prediction: 4-9

Gorillabrav - Atlanta Falcons
Unfortunately it looks like another year of challenging for the first overall pick for Gorilla. However,
well give him a break considering he's a terrific commish at one of the most successfull leagues
in ATA. He does have Andre Rison as a nice bright point, who I'm sure will win this team a game
or two single handedly. Prediction: 2-11

Memorable Division

Carmelhoops27/MrTecmoSuperbowl - Los Angeles Raiders
CTLs first management, coach situation has the ability to go extremely far this year. After 2
seasons of 3 combined wins, Carmelhoops was able to put together a team that is extremely
competitive and extremely deep. A 63MS Barry Sanders coupled with 2 63REC WRs, and a
69REC TE in Shannon Sharp to get 69PS to feed the ball to. The D side of the ball is solid
aswell. 69HP DL O'neal is a catalyst on the DL, and Woolford and Woodson lead an above
average secondary with a lot of HP. The only thing this team needed was someone good to
play for them, which is WHERE MrTecmo steps in. Prediction: 11-2

CanesRFoReal - Houston Oilers
In CTL 3 things are certain: Death, and that Canes and TSBGod will put together great teams.
A good QB, a good RB, and two good WRs leads a stout offense. The D front 7 will hold their
own, and Lewis and Hasty lead a very good secondary minus Lyle. The O will carry this team
to the playoffs for sure. Prediction: 10-3

Mort1237 - Buffallo Bills
Well, there is a QB controversy in Buffalo, but don't expect it to hold back the heard. And While
the running game is suspect, there are a couple targets for the QB starter to throw to. This team
really shines in its LBs and DBs. Infact they have the best LB in the game in Junior Seau,
who is right next to another great LB (but terrible coach) Jack Del Rio. Neon Deion will be near
the top in league INTs, and Williams and Robertson might as well just be called the leagues
"bash brothers" with their terrific HP. Prediction: 6-7

Jlstout123 - Seattle Seahawks
JL looks to debunk the rumor that one cannot build a team around WRs. Blades and Moore
provide terrific insurance for stan the man at QB. Larry Brown and Darren Woodson are
very nice overall options at DB to slow down botht he pass and the rush game. Overall
a decent season for JL, but not enough to make it all the way. Prediction: 6-7

Opus112 - Washington Redskins
Erickson and Watters provide for some steady but sure offense, but Rice at WR is a potential
game breaker every time Erickson bows under center. Will a lack of a second decent WR hurt
the skins though? A very weak OL could hurt washington against better DL teams.
His LB core has a lot of hard hitters, and Greg Jackson looks to take over an otherwise decent
DB crew. The back 7 will have to be the backbone of the redskins in this tough division.
Prediction: 6-7
